To be out there, he's got to be out there and perform.

And performing.

Doing what he was expected to be doing when he got there.

And that's pressuring the pocket.

And then maybe you add the other things later.

But he was drafted at that spot because he's a guy who can pressure the passer from that position.

And we've got to see that pretty quickly.

For Thomas, I think we've got to see what we've heard from him.

I don't know that I necessarily need exemplaries or player of the week awards, but it has to be apparent.

By the time we get to the end of the first season, you have to be able to look at him and say he's going to be

a pressure guy, he's going to get sacks.

Even if he doesn't get them right away, I think you've got to be able to see what they say they saw in him.

And I think he'll get the opportunity to do that.

Whether he succeeds or not is going to be a great determinant.

But I think he could have two or three sacks or even, you know,

But get to the end of the season and go, well, he was kind of lost in numbers.

They didn't use this or that.

But you saw what the coach is like in him and as he comes into his next year impact player.
