Is that really the premise that everybody works for?

You know, I read a thing.

Brian Haney sent out a thank you to Ryan Lefevre.

for coming and talking to a class that Brian Haney teaches up at KU.

And he listed what were the talking points, what Ryan Lefevre feels are the good, the important things for a play-by-play guy.

And if you aspire to doing that job, I would really encourage you to take a look at that.

Juan Ryan is very good at what he does, very successful.

And one of them he said in there is, you know,

My job is not to make me sound great.

My job is to show how great the players are and how good the manager and coaching staff and front office is at putting them in a position to succeed.

And I thought that was an amazing way.

You know, most people say, like, my job is to, you know, accurately detail the game.

You know, accurately portray the game.

Portray the game to all the nuances where the fans can understand what's going on.

I would say bring enjoyment, bring entertainment through educating the fans about what's going on.

He had an amazing way of looking at it.

Because he is right.

These are the best players.
