How much of it is, like, I know Synergy is a basketball software, and, like, I know the coaches, I believe, can do things like they just type in, you know, I want to see right-hand drives from point guard on this team.
And it brings up and it brings just, it chops up that video and does that.
Is that, number one, am I accurate in how I'm portraying that?
And is that available in all sports, including soccer?
Well, and it seems like it would be, you know, you can scout the whole world without getting on 700 planes, you know?
Once we get, I mean, the goal would be to get all baseball, football, all soccer online, and then basically everybody can scout.
Here's my question.
We're seeing in baseball, and you've mentioned that, you know, soccer's maybe just a couple years behind on baseball because baseball jumped in and out first.
Like, we're watching a phenomenon in the American League where literally everybody's just kind of meh.
I've asked this of Daniel Mack, who's the head of analytics for the Kansas City Royals.
Yeah, great guy.
And I've asked him a couple of times because he's been one of the panelists at the Linda Hall talk on baseball analytics.
And I'm like, once everybody has all the data, doesn't everybody look the same?
Like, how do you get advantages when everybody has all the data?
How would you answer that when it comes to soccer or sports in general?
We're talking to Paul Carr here, senior director at True Media.
He'll be one of the panelists at the talk that's coming up at the Linda Hall Library.
It is always absolutely fantastic, informative if you love soccer, if you love sports in general, if you like the math.
