So if both the forwards go, the Vancouver Canucks take Chase Reed, and then you laugh all the way to the back because your whole defense core is now solidified for the next decade.

I mean, the other thing is, do I project all of them to be first pairing defensemen?

Not necessarily number one.

I think Chase Reed has the highest probability of being a number one.

But the rest of them, their highest probability is to be a number two, but they're still first pairing defensemen.

It's very rare when you get to have that many defensemen in a grouping like that.

And so particularly if you can get a right-handed shot.

And it just works out really well in balancing Vancouver's defense pairing.

So if the first pick for Vancouver is a defenseman,

Take it, run, and the Vancouver Canucks fans should be really excited about that.

I know it's always nice to have the sexy offensive player, but Chase Reed's a guy who could probably put up 60 points for you in a year too, but also be your number one defenseman.

And so I'm not saying he's replacing Quinn Hughes because Quinn Hughes is really an offensive dynamo.

He doesn't have that offensive capability, but he has the size and skating ability to
