Like everybody loves Brady Kachuk in Ottawa and rightfully so.

And everybody around the league loves him after, you know, four nations after his playoff performance.

But I think it's a good test for them now because they went into this year having to figure out a way to generate offense when he's not on the ice anyway.

Now they're forced to do it.

So I think that's going to make other players step up.

Like, will Drake Bathurston keep scoring goals?

Can David Perron find that scoring touch again?

He did last night on the power play.

What can Dylan Cousins do if he's leaned on a little bit more?

And obviously, Shane Pinto is popping off, so that helps too.

So I think this is going to force them to learn a little bit more about themselves offensively because it's where they seriously lack.

And then once Kachuk comes back, he should just fit right into his place and everything kind of just trickles down and goes right back into formation.

So...

There's a learning opportunity here as long as they don't completely blow their playoff chances between now and then.
