I told myself like, you know, why the fuck do I care?
So there was a point in my life where I went to the United States with $34 in my pocket.
And I made it just fine.
And then I lost my father and I came back to the United States again.
I was gone for two months and I came back again.
And I had to sleep in the car for two weeks.
And I had $50 in my pocket.
So like 2001, $34.
2005, $50.
My life didn't change much.
And I told myself, what's the worst which is going to happen to me?
I'll go back to 34.
I'll go back to zero.
Right.
Yeah, I don't care.
And so that's sort of like, you know, the mental like switch that I had.
And that happened on the heels of my father passing away and me unplugging him out of his life.
Literally.
Because he was in a vegetative state.
So basically we had to decide as a family whether he was going to stay or not because 88% of his brain was damaged.
