Why can't I?
What's the old saying that fathers, what would they say to you?
Because.
They'll say, because I said so.
Because I said so.
Because I said so.
Now I feel powerless, right?
So people conclude I'm powerless.
They don't know that they have this belief, but how does that manifest?
So I'm going to tell you all a secret.
This is very, very, very good stuff right now.
This is a kernel.
Underlying anger is always powerlessness.
Because if you could do something about it, you just would.
We get angry because we feel powerless.
Underlying fear is always a real or imagined threat to your survival.
And mostly when we feel fear, there is no threat to your survival.
So survival strategy beliefs, I'm powerless.
Well, how did my father have power?
He controlled and dominated everybody.
