So we all have beliefs that determine our behavior.
Workaholics don't not care about their kids.
But they keep having to prove, I'm good enough, I'm good enough, I'm good enough.
I'm important.
I matter by doing, you know, by having a successful business.
Except guess what, you guys?
It's a heroin addiction.
It doesn't make you good enough, evidenced by the fact that you have to keep doing it.
And I'll make a distinction.
You are not a human doing.
You are a human being.
At my husband's memorial, nobody said he went to University of Chicago and he wrote three books and he created.
They said he was the most loving man they ever met.
He was nonjudgmental.
He always was present and listened.
He made me feel special.
They talked about who he was, not what he did.
One of the things I love about you, Alex, is in those minutes, in those short videos or podcasts that you do, I feel a sense, and it really moves me, that you really want to make a difference.
Like it's not about you.
