So I truly have no idea if he did or not.
But what I did get a little annoyed about in that moment, and I think John De Niro got real annoyed, is simply, and he seemed to be gesturing in every single direction, then he got into it with basically every umpire on the field, but
was simply that, you know, I mean, Caballero out there with his antics.
I mean, like Ben Schulman said during the broadcast, Caballero got the last laugh because he had a titanic three-run shot of Tommy Nance in this one.
But, you know, he's out there complaining, and then Boone has to come out there and calm him down.
And then Schneider says, like, three words and gets tossed.
Didn't really care for that personally.
But from a stuff perspective, Hoffman, I did think, looked electric, right?
I mean, after Schneider, maybe he needed Schneider to get tossed to get a little more amped up just to feel alive.
I'm not sure.
But he gets Schumann and Volpe after that, and he looked locked in, right?
I mean, we didn't see... All we saw from Hoffman today were sliders and sinkers, and they all looked pretty electric, all things considered.
So, again...
I'm not ready to say Jeff Hoffman's back, but it is nice to see the good version of the Dr. Jekyll version of Mr. Jeff Hoffman today.
