You're listening to Blue Jays Talk.
That's Nick Ashbourne.
I'm Sho Ali, back in a flash on the Sportsnet Radio Network.
That's pretty funny.
From Josh Schneider.
Which, again, that was really the crux of what I think pissed off a lot of people in the stadium, which was not necessarily that.
Because, again, I think it is debatable whether it was or was not a balk.
And the little motion that Hoffman made.
The inside move clearly was what John Schneider took offense with.
But it's really when he went at the next umpire is really when you could see.
And he's pointing at the Yankees dugout.
He's pointing at the other umpires.
He's pointing at the home plate umpires.
He's pointing at home plate.
He clearly took exception with more than just the balk.
I think it's kind of what the call on the field seemed to represent for him in that particular moment.
Yeah, I guess because he's essentially trying to manipulate the pitch clock, right?
In the sense that he's,
he's trying to look at the pitcher until the last, or try not to look at the pitcher until the last possible second, because the pitcher can't start the delivery until, I guess what, I forget what the exact wording of the rule is, but eye contact or what have you, right?
I think that's what he's trying to do there, and I guess the umpire wasn't having it.
