I, I agree that offensively it was not the finest performance we'll ever see.
Right.
I mean, the play of the game from an offensive standpoint is probably what the Andres Jimenez basis loaded walk after an 11 pitch battle, like that entire AB resulting in a basis loaded walk against Kim Schlittler, who had been very, very good for most of the night.
I got to think that's the moment of the ball game.
But you're right.
I mean, the offense is not... I said this after they won the Tigers series, but it's not exactly going to change how I think a lot of people feel.
But I do admit to being of two minds on this game when it comes to the offense, right?
On one hand...
Even though they came to life to a certain extent in New York in games one and two that they didn't win.
Obviously, this is an offense that is scuffled for most of the year.
On the other side, you have the guy who I think even after this game at this point in time is almost certainly the favorite for the AL Cy Young.
in cam Schlitler, right?
I mean, he is regularly blown guys away with this ridiculous stuff.
He largely did that today.
I mean, again, what was the final line on Schlitler for my strikeout perspective?
Was it seven strikeouts?
Yeah, seven strikeouts.
And of course he threw to the four batters in the seventh before getting, getting the hook from Aaron Boone.
But again,
you know, it like, how much is it, how much of this falls on the Jays and their approach?
