I mean, look, I do think that missed opportunities do make you feel like that, but I'll focus on the positives today.
I can't believe I'll say this, but on Jordan's comment on Valenzuela, the first thought that ran through my mind was,
when Valenzuela got the bunt to go in the top of the seventh inning to load the bases.
And then you see Wells and Goldschmidt both kind of fumbling to get the ball there.
I can't believe that was the same guy who we've seen try to lay down bunts in the like very recent past, right?
I mean, he must've just locked himself in the batting cage and only laid down essentially while they're on this road trip, because I mean, it was, it was kind of almost kind of comical for like what two straight pitches to just watch him
Because you're seeing the view from behind the pitcher, as we usually do, and Valenzuela's just standing there like a statue, ready to bunt, and he still managed to lay it down.
So I'll give him a lot of credit on that one.
And then, of course, he legs it out to load the bases with nobody out.
Yeah, you would have liked a couple more runs there, but nice to see the offense pull together.
All right, let's take a quick break here.
We can chat more about the offense on the other side.
I want to read more of your texts as well.
Their whole whack of texts have not yet gotten to, but I want to read as many as possible before we get out of here.
And we'll take a look as it is late.
