These are our conversations with players and coaches from your Toronto Blue Jays.
Whether it's myself or Ben Shulman who are conducting these chats, we'll try and bring these to you twice a month until the end of the season.
If you are a frequent listener to us on the Sportsnet Radio Network, once again, thank you.
Not a whole lot of point in doing this if you guys aren't there on the other side, but if you do join us on the radio, you will hear some of these chats live on the pregame shows, so this is also a place for these chats to live going forward.
I had mentioned this before, but if there are any players you want us to try and speak with, you can shoot me or Ben a DM directly or to the Fan590 Twitter or Instagram accounts, and someone will pass that along to us ASAP, but certainly always open to your suggestions.
In any case, though, let's get to those chats.
We have four for you today.
First, one of the surprising stories of the Blue Jays' season.
Patrick Corbin, not only signing well after the season began, but pitching pretty well, all things considered.
Ben spoke with him in the Jays' clubhouse.
Before the road trip began last week, same goes for myself and Tyler Heinemann.
I also spoke to him in the clubhouse about a week ago.
We spoke about the relationship between pitcher and catcher and how life with ABS has been going.
Ben also caught up with Joe Mantiply, who has been a lefty option out of the pen since Brendan Little was sent down.
And I mentioned this the last time out, but with the 50th season in full swing, and we'll try and do these a few times this year,
I caught up with Vernon Wells when the alumni were in town a few weeks ago.
As a guy, I watched a lot as a teenager, so that was a treat for me personally, I will admit.
So here in order, here's Corbin, Heinemann, Mantiply, and Wells on the latest edition of Jay's Talk Field Access.
I remember having a conversation with your teammate, Brandon Valenzuela.
I asked him shortly after he got called up about the preparation catchers do before games.
