Yeah, we'd built this community and we'd been really transparent the whole way through.
And even in the year before we closed Pleasant State, I'd seen so many brands that I admired really sadly close.
And they just kind of like shut up shop.
Yeah.
And I was like, what happened?
Like, are you okay?
And I just thought that we kind of owed it to our community after everything that we'd built to explain it to them.
But also it was...
helpful for me as well to just be able to talk through it yeah um so and the response was so overwhelmingly positive I like I think we had one person say they're upset because they'd bought it and then now they can't refill it which I totally understand but it was so positive um and then yeah if I'm going to be honest part of me was like I like maybe we should have just done this sooner because we were holding on because we were so scared but everyone was amazing yeah so yeah
I've still got mine.
Just with something else in them.
I think I said that.
I was like, look, I didn't know at the time and, like, I'm not going to, like, throw them out.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
And that's like another thing that I really struggled with through this process was when you're in this like situation in a business that's struggling and your role is marketing but also front facing.
Yeah.
I have to really play it.
