And there was something that Arbeloa said today.
Now, I don't know if this will get picked up on in the next few days.
I certainly hope so, but I thought it was really, really significant.
He was asked about putting Gonzalo GarcΓa on the pitch and putting him on the right wing.
And his answer, and I don't have the exact text in front of me now, but his answer was essentially to say, well, yeah, he's better through the middle.
And we need to think about where the players are best.
And we talked about it in the dressing room afterwards that people weren't in the right place.
Now, I know it's a crazy situation where you're chasing the victory and you end up effectively with five men up front.
But when you've got five men up front, why go and follow Arthur?
who's a number nine is out on the right wing why you've got people like Rodrigo and Brahim sort of playing in slightly deeper positions because there isn't really a sense of a structure so these two weeks that they've got to work on I think emotionally Stevie was rightly pointing out I think will be significant because they can work away from the pressure of having a test every three days having the fans on their back they can just get on with the work and they can do that work with a degree of continuity because they're not playing you know they've got six days before every game
The other thing I think is they can have some time to think about an actual structure.
Now, here's the question, as you say, what they do without about Bellingham.
Well, if they come up with a structure without Bellingham, then when he comes back, what do they do again?
Because they're confronted by the same situation again.
And bear in mind that when Bellingham went off today, they made a change which also involved a change of structure.
