Well, Nathan Smith is merely Kerr's partner.
He's sort of the next one down.
She's the great cricketer.
He's working towards it.
Look, terrific character.
Otago early on, again, pretty tough.
He spent some time.
So I'm in St Albans at the moment at home.
There's a place called Radlet where Michael Atherton and his son, who obviously plays for Middlesex, they play their club cricket.
Nathan was the club pro there up the road, about two miles up the road from here, 2019 and I think 2021.
So he's had a bit of time over here playing league cricket.
Got his breakthrough at Otago, and then since he and Amelia have been together, he's moved to Wellington, and they now live together there.
But just a...
There's a lot to like about how he goes about, a bit Michael Nyssa-like, you know, sort of short, not tall, skiddy-ish, swings the ball away, but darts it back in with that three-quarter ball as well.
He's just become a good foil to that sort of tall, hit-the-deck bowling attack.
And, you know, if Henry's not there, then you've got Tickner, who's tall, Sears is tall.
So he's a really nice sort of skiddy,
um quick enough foil to that attack and as i say i think he will over time kyle jemison's batting is still there he got clocked on the head a couple of times here i'm not going to take too much into the the sort of the way he played in this test match but he's got more than enough ability with the bat he was an opening batter growing up right through to the ages 16 17 i think he he was a top order batter so you sort of throw um jameson smith in there if new zealand need to play a spinner
probably Mitchell Santner, batting gets quite deep from that point of view.
So, yeah, great addition and a champion bloke as well.
