I was kind of okay at cricket.
I don't think I was a great cricketer.
You know, I was fortunate and had a few skills that I could sort of take from level to level, but...
I always loved the game and I sort of, I had to get away from the game completely to understand how much I loved it.
So when I finished playing, I had breakfast radio show for seven years on a rock music station and I got away from the game.
But I realized during that time how much I loved the game.
And so, therefore, if you love the game, you can love all formats of it.
And not everyone will, and that's okay.
You know, if you love your test match cricket and you say, I mean, plenty of people over here, oh, the hundreds ruining England cricket.
You know, what are we doing playing this stupid game?
Oh, we've let everyone else buy our teams.
It's just like the crowds turn up.
You know, there are young families turning up to 100 games.
Okay, it's played in the school holidays when the blast used to be played or a test match used to be played.
So there's that argument as well.
But the game of cricket has evolved.
Life has evolved.
Every game's evolved.
You know, sort of AI is taking over.
And where does that leave us in 10, 20 years' time?
