But it was basically down to the fact that they invest their money.
And obviously home buyers in the U.S.
stock market has gone up by so much.
But the gap was really quite stark.
And I know people in the US earn more, right?
And there's a trade-off there.
They hardly get any holiday and various other things.
But, you know, the gap in wealth between the two was really substantial.
And it was largely explained by the fact that in the US, they have much more of an investing culture.
And I think the reasons why people give for not investing...
you need to tackle those.
And this is a difficult thing to do because this isn't a tell Sid thing.
This isn't a buy this stock thing, this one stock thing.
This is a invest your money sensibly and over the long term thing.
And that's a harder message to get across than you can make a quick buck on some British gas shares.
But...
There is this element where if you do it over the long term, if you do it sensibly, if you take that risk, then you should build up your wealth by more.
But I think that people are nervous about it and they worry about it and they worry about...
making the wrong decision.
They're not necessarily concerned about picking the best investment.
