That's such a good point.
Yeah, I love that.
I approach it in two parts.
One, like the first aspect of like my own comparisons, I used to be someone that really would compare, not financially, but maybe like how my brands are doing.
And so before Girls That Invest, I've run a number of, you know, other media companies before and they have been such fun experiences that I would really get in love
my own head and like, well, look at this brand or what are they doing?
Or, you know, this and that, like they're so much smaller, but they're doing so much more new projects.
Like I should really, you know, get onto it.
And so that experience has taught me like, if, I mean, it's, it's that like really, really cheesy saying that comparison really is the thief of joy and
And my personal view is that the only person I'm in competition with is myself.
And as long as I'm better than someone from yesterday or someone from last month or last year, then I'm doing okay, whether that's in business, whether that's in my finances.
And that's really helped me keep my own head down.
In terms of comparisons financially with others, I think I try to offset it by also showing all aspects of it.
So you're not just seeing my highlight reel.
You're not just seeing us getting a book deal.
You're not just seeing the great things that come from growing your wealth.
You also see when we burn out, we talk about it on the podcast.
When we have experiences that are not so great that are related to money, we talk about it
the ceiling of my house fell down the other day, like the entire ceiling, the roof is still intact.
I don't know how it's happened.
