I mean, burnout was not like, again, I was an optometrist, so we didn't actually have like corporate lingo, so to speak.
We didn't even do emails.
It was a big shock, you know, changing over jobs.
And one of the things that I learned was this concept called burnout.
And very much like yourself for a long time, I was like, what is it like?
And I kind of brush it aside.
It wasn't my misunderstanding of burnout was that burnout was just that you're too tired or you're not interested in doing certain things because you're too tired or you're too busy.
So you like, you know, push those projects off to the side.
And I was like, fair enough, but I love what I do.
So I'm not burnt out.
And then it really hit me that burnout was when you're so like genuinely exhausted to the point where work feels like every little task feels so draining and you're at a point where, you know, you're disinterested, you're tired, you're cranky.
Like it was almost like a form of depression, but like a work depression.
And that's when I kind of, you know, hit into that space again.
Earlier this year, when I was taking on a lot of projects, I was writing my book.
I was trying to organize all of our partnerships.
I was trying to just run the brand as a one woman company.
And now that I look at that, I'm almost like, of course, I was burnt out.
That's so many different things to do, but you don't realize it in the moment.
And it took me a lot.
And I was very lucky to have friends like Sonia, my co-host and my life to kind of say, hey, you know,
