Being financially secure is important, but it shouldn't come at the cost of your own health.
And I think that was a concept I really struggled with.
I think also if you come from somewhat of a background where you have parents that work really hard and are somewhat hustlers, you know, my parents were immigrants.
So I saw them really just the whole story of, you know, came from nothing and worked their way to where they are now.
That was just the way I had been brought up to think about money.
It wasn't slow and steady wins the race.
It was just like, go, go, go.
And so burnout is so important when it comes to your finances.
It's just not something we speak about often enough, I would say.
I think it just comes down to understanding what you can control, understanding what you like.
And so simple, it's so easy to say, but just either outsourcing or deciding that something is not important enough.
And so whilst I used to maybe...
track every single thing I would spend my money on.
I've learned to go, okay, no, this is just my budget.
And as long as I spend less than that budget, as long as that debit card that I have associated with that bank account doesn't empty for my maybe $100 allowance a week or whatever it may be, then I'm fine.
I don't have to track every single thing.
So sometimes it can look like that, just taking a step back and still achieving what you're after, but not going as hard and as fast as you may have been going.
We're on the same page.
Oh, absolutely.
I like have a whole setup.
