It's neither of those things, I would say.
So we did score, that index has actually been discontinued, but we regularly, consistently did score very highly.
We scored highly because we're a wealthy country and partially because we're well integrated in global trade.
That and the export focus we have has the benefits.
The integration into the global system has the benefit of
A certain resilience when it comes to, for example, major climate crises.
We want to be able to import food.
We want to be able to rely on other food incoming as well.
So that's the key issue.
So we in terms of self-sufficiency, we we produce 198 percent of the pork we consume, 680 percent of the beef and 405 percent of the lamb we consume.
So those numbers definitely point to self-sufficiency.
If there's a global crisis, at least we can consume the products coming from that food, which is a really good starting point.
We don't want to, I think, either.
So we need much greater diversity than that.
And what we're not producing, what we do rely on is, in terms of meat, is poultry imports.
So we only produce 71% of the chicken we consume.
And that represents now almost half of the meat consumed in Ireland.
So there's a gap in terms of what we consume there.
