But just trying to see what we can do better in our processes in Miami was the key, whether it was the R&D department and how it was relayed to the players, whether it was our hitting coach and how that information was relayed to the players.
But it was all figuring out the inner workings and trying to figure out what information was beneficial to the player.
and then what motivated a player like we just talked about.
You know, we had some unique personalities over there in Miami, but again, I keep going back to the winning.
As long as their common goal when they walked into the clubhouse was how we're going to get better and how we're going to win today, I was good with it.
But keeping that mantra was the key.
Yeah, well, it's talking with the hitting coach and trying to figure out and making sure that we're aligned with what we think when you're facing an ace that day or if you're facing the number five starter that day or a call-up.
I mean, everything is different, but having a real identity and not just have individuals throughout the team or the lineup, but having a real identity of like, you know, we're
This is what we're doing today to beat that team or that starter is really the goal.
Obviously, individual performances matter, right?
Like Corey Seager is a pretty good player.
You know, I think he's going to probably put up some insane numbers and and, you know, be our aircraft carrier.
But there's other guys around him that need to.
And, you know, throughout the lineup, we have all kinds of really good, talented players.
but we all need to be pulling on the same rope.
And the direction of the offense is, you know, what we're trying to figure out this offseason through front office and talking with staff and players.
And I think everybody is frustrated, you know, in my conversations, you know, with the players so far this offseason and looking forward to finding out, you know, what our real identity is as an offensive team.
I am aware.
Yeah, that was a special moment for our family.
