Sorry, Ross.
But yeah, I'm very aware.
I let Michael Young know and Kinsler know quite often about game six.
I don't think that I'm available.
I don't think I can say that anymore, though, now that I'm a Texas Ranger.
So I understand that I have to switch my mind and not wear them out too much about that anymore now that I'm on this side.
Well, obviously everyone here knows who Michael Young is as a person, family man, incredible player, Hall of Fame ranger.
But the person and teammate that he was to me in 2013 when I was with the Dodgers, when he got traded over there,
impacted me in more ways than he understands.
You know, he went to Santa Barbara, I went to Santa Barbara, UC Santa Barbara, and we had an alumni game.
And I was on, he probably doesn't, there's no way he remembers this, but I was on second base as a base runner.
He was playing shortstop
as an alum, and obviously at that time he was like Michael Young, the all-star, like the dude.
And he said to me, hey, I've heard that a lot of scouts are talking to you as a pitcher, like drafted as a pitcher.
I was like, yeah, but there's no way I can, I'm 5'10", it's just not gonna work.
And he's like, well, in this game, you either prove people right or prove people wrong.
And then he just went back to his position.
And I was like, OK, no one's ever told me that before.
And I've used that for, you know, throughout my career as a player and as a coach.
And I've used that again, you know, quite often lately even.
