That fear was quashed for me really early on.
I remember that the producer, the executive producer at the time
before we started filming my first season, you know, you sort of have the, we had the initial big episodes with Jamie Oliver.
So that was, that was that.
And then it was all about kind of introducing us as people as well, or reintroducing, you know, Poe, for example, everyone already knows.
And he called me up and he said, we want to do an episode that you lead.
And basically the challenge is about the contestants cooking something that you have to eat with your hands.
And those who know me will know that that is my favourite thing to do.
Also because it's something that, you know, various cultures do that we don't do so often in Western society.
And there are a range of reasons why it's great.
Less washing up.
makes you feel more connected to what you're doing, you know, things like that.
You didn't even need to keep listening.
I swear it makes the food taste better.
I swear it makes the food taste better.
So that's a really good example of how early on I was like, oh, they get me and, you know, they put some of my footage up and really let me own that.
The other thing that's really reassuring is when friends or family come
were surprised at how me I was when they watched it.
So they let me be silly.
They let me, yes, use big words sometimes, but make terrible puns and just have a laugh and have fun as well as the actual judging side of things.
