So Christian, when did this whole thing really start? I mean, it's just like all of a sudden this concept of a pharmacy desert hit the scene here, but when did we really start seeing it?
Right. So let, let me ask this question. Then, then Barry, I'll get to you in just a sec here. Um, I remember going to school and pharmacists would get a BS degree in pharmacy. And then there was a period of time, I don't know exactly when it hit the scene, where that was eliminated, I think, and pharmacists now get a PharmD degree. So my question is, did that

Did that kind of lead to more community pharmacists kind of going away and pharmacists leaning more towards clinical pharmacy?

Okay, that that's good. That's a good clarification, as well. Although most people, you know, when they when they talk to their pharmacist, they're not asking them what kind of a degree they have. But, but, but it's interesting, because she kind of think, well, okay, if they become more educated, or if they think that people think they become more educated, then do they go into different venues?

Okay, and I'm glad that that wasn't the case. Barry, go ahead.

So a couple of things. You know, so I volunteer working at a hospital and I see patients coming out of surgery. One of the questions I asked them, and this came to be when I happened to be in their hospital room with the hospital pharmacist. And the pharmacist asked the patient. I mean, here they are. They had their knee replaced. So they're asking, do you have access? Ready?

Do you have access or easy access to a pharmacy?
Do you have access or easy access to a pharmacy?
Ask the patient. this and if the and and so i proceed to ask that question now too and if the answer is no i don't then we work with you know either the social worker or the community health worker in order for them to to be assured that when they go home for their recovery They're able to get access to a pharmacy or medications that they need.

I found that to be, frankly, troubling because I never even thought about that a few years back. I mean, everybody's got access to a pharmacy. But now there's the question. So it really relates to, and Christian, you can talk about this is access. How is it that people access a pharmacy now?

I think it also relates to face-to-face communication too. with an actual pharmacist.
