So, for instance, you know, I've mentioned on this show before that, you know, I see patients right after they've come out of knee surgery and, you know, I give them some guidance based on somebody who's gone through it myself.
And they're taking medications now for pain management.
Now, these are not going to be long-term medications.
They're gonna take it for maybe a couple of weeks or so.
There are medications that people take that they have to take for the rest of their lives, okay?
So like, for instance, if I were a knee replacement patient today, yes, I would be on Dilaudid or Oxy or whatever to manage pain.
On the other hand, I'm also taking my thyroid medication that I have to take every single day, frankly, for the rest of my life.
So we get into these medication management things
on a daily basis versus things that come up in people's lives health-wise that, frankly, they have to take medications for that can put things out of whack a little bit drug-wise.
So just insights into that.
So, all right, I think we'd be remiss to not ask this one question, although this is a loaded question, which would probably be a totally new show altogether.
But the political environment right now and how it's affecting people's knowledge and anxiety
and information exchange around medication.
So, all right, from your perspective as pharmacists and as researchers and as community people, tell me what you think about all the stuff that's kind of going around us politically.
Incredible conversation here.
And incredibly useful for our audience.
