It's so high school, but it is so fucking confusing.
You are in so many different identities at once.
Which, by the way, I just have to say, I feel...
I resonate with that a lot in different ways.
I also, I think I leaned really heavy into the athlete, because I grew up in athlete culture.
My mom was also a marathon runner.
High performance is the thing in my family.
So I played volleyball.
And I really leaned into that.
But also, I was in musical theater.
I'm a singer.
You know what I mean?
So I was theater.
I was athletics.
I was a big stoner.
At one point, I was hanging out with all the emo stoner kids in a garage, like hotboxing.
So I really was never a part of one thing.
I was always kind of part of everything.
And I kind of do attribute that to my queerness because I think it was a little bit of me trying to figure out like... Searching.
which one feels the most like me, you know?
