The problem is I don't really know this girl.
We're friendly, but we're not really friends.
We've hung out one-on-one, and the conversations seem kind of quiet, a little bit strained, and pretty superficial.
This couple lives about an hour away from the city, so we kind of see them sporadically, but
We're supposed to see them this weekend, so I'm getting a little bit anxious about, you know, can I say no to being a bridesmaid?
How do I do so without, you know, embarrassing myself or her?
Has anyone said no to this before and it's been fine?
I just, you know, I kind of picture myself, you know, sitting in the corner, not really knowing anyone, and then, you know, not having any fun memories or...
anything like about the bride to contribute when, you know, you play those, the classic, how well do you know the bride game?
Those like kind of standard things that go along with the showers and the bachelorette parties.
And just as a note, I'll also be about four months postpartum when the wedding occurs.
I'm not really sure that I will feel or look my best.
And I know it's, you know, people aren't looking at me, but I just,
If I'm included in a wedding, I want to be able to support 100%.
And, you know, it's more just because I just don't feel like I know her.
The groom has already kind of declared who his groomsmen will be.
And so now it's kind of down to the bride.
