I did a video for them.
I produced a video just explaining what's required when you need to trade in your phone and what you need to do.
And that was a paid gig, of course.
They asked me to create this content for them.
But there's other companies, like Boost Mobile.
I think Kohl's even still sell refurbished phones.
There's Mobile Guru.
So many places where you can buy a refurbished phone.
And the beauty of a refurbished phone, whether it's an iPhone or an Android, is that the companies put them through โ they wipe all the data for a start โ
And they put them through multiple point check, up to 72 point check to make sure that the screens are fine and the speakers are working and the touchscreen's okay.
So they do put them through a lot of testing.
And so when you buy them from one of these reputable resellers, then you can rest assured you're getting a decent device.
So on an iPhone, say a 14 or 15, you may be paying 500 to 700 bucks.
And they all come with warranties in their own box and a charging cable
So worth exploring if you're looking at updating your phone.
And my recommendation, if you've been using an iPhone, and I'm talking to sort of the older people out there with these old phones, that they're not the tech-savviest people, but they're used to their phone now.
So my advice to them would be if you're an iPhone user, stick to an iPhone, get another iPhone.
If you're an Android user, get another Android.
I think as easy as that.
But I think if you've had them for quite a while, I think it'd be time to look for a new one.
