And also, I think my mum, in all fairness to them, they arrived.
I've done a relatively new short-form podcast series talking about people of my generation and their parents because our parents really did.
They worked hard, really, because my parents arrived in London in the early 60s when they were young people.
So they were out of their depth.
So the last thing on their mind was, you know, raising a family properly, where the most important thing was putting food on the table.
And they also had time to have relations because I have got six siblings.
What the hell were they thinking?
I don't think there was much protection.
I feel your pain.
And obviously when you're a child with all these siblings, you've got to try and make your position felt.
Because I don't know if this happened to you, but sometimes our parents would call us by the wrong name.
I think that was fine.
Forget who you are.
I remember sitting around the dinner table.
My mum leans to my brother, points to me and says, who is this child eating out of food?
The middle one.
It's hard trying to get that balance right.
It is tough getting that balance right, but I also think that if you do come from a family where there was a bit of tough love, but at the same time there was also love, then you get the balance.
