And I was like, oh, man, this is the kind of shit that I want to do.

Again, you have a moment of fanning out and then you're like, all right, we can't be a fan and in the game at the same time.
I knew my character functioned as a foil to his.
He's trying to juggle all these things.
He's trying to get a foothold with his writing career.
He's trying to take care of mom.
And my character is sort of like on a different path.
I've been married for 20 years.
