And people move on to another way of showing things and another campaign.
Yes I do actually because it worked perfectly well I think from memory.
It probably did favour some and not others but I don't know.
And you don't have all this.
Now we have the two transfer windows.
the summer one and the January one, there is so much focus on those when they come along, and before they come along, as we know.
We start talking about the January one in about October, don't we?
And it just puts... I just think it's a bit of an...
an unbalanced market really it makes teams make changes to their squad because everybody else is at the same time when they sometimes they don't need to or sometimes they wouldn't want to it sort of skews things I think I seem to remember that you used to be able to buy and sell if you're in the football league you used to be able to buy and sell but then there was a transfer deadline around the end of March you couldn't bring anybody in after that that's right
and then you could start again in the summer.
And from what I remember, that worked okay.
I can't really see what the problem was with that.
I don't really... A, I can't remember when it changed, and B, I can't remember why it changed.
But like all these things, we're probably never going to go back to how things were, are we?
Yeah, it did.
And I bet if you go back to those days where people could spend, where people could buy for at any point within sort of 10 months of the year,
I bet there were fewer transfers per club then in terms of buying and selling than there are now.
I think the window, you know, every time a window comes around, every club's fans are saying, we need to buy six players, we need to buy eight players.
In some cases, we need to buy 15 players.
