Well, it's not tricky. This is pretty standard math. So we're the 40th anniversary of the greatest Final Four in the history of the tournament. Big East Feast, the cover of Sports Illustrated. We had the Johnnies. Fortunately, they had to play Georgetown again. So I enjoyed this Final Four. It's my favorite Final Four until it actually started happening. Yeah.

And then you had Memphis before it was β It was Memphis State back then. And then Villanova-Georgetown for one of the great upsets in the history of American sports. So it was a Big East. It's something that you could look back to. And I remember arguing, I think, depending on where you were at, depending on what year, the Big East felt like the NBA league.

No doubt.

I wouldn't argue with anybody, to be honest with you, but I'm going to be biased because I grew up with it and I loved it. And it's funny, too, because when we started talking about the SEC stuff that Cannell used to always lose his mind about, he was like, no one ever used to root for conferences. And I was like, you're 100% wrong. You're sitting next to somebody who...

As much as I despise Georgetown or Syracuse, I wanted them to beat the ACC schools once the tournament happened because I felt like this is cool. Like the best brand of basketball is in the Northeast. And look, a lot of this stuff is cyclical. But at that time, like that's something Big East fans will still remember because it felt ridiculous how much better those teams were for a stretch.

I'm so glad you brought it up because this was a stretch when we were younger. UConn wasn't a factor there. I mean, they were, they play in the field house or dirt on the floor. Like they weren't a factor. Yeah. And in Connecticut, you either rooted for Syracuse, Georgetown or St. John's. That was it. That was it. And I was more towards the New York side. I sided with Georgetown. Money.

My cousins were St. John's guys, but like we were going through Scott and I were going through the old St. John's rosters. And then, uh, This weekend, you see Walter Berry in the garden. And then you read, I don't know if you read the story by Quinn on The Athletic where Walter Berry goes up to Lewis in the locker room after the game.
