I think that's what the number was. And it was actually the lowest based on expected wins of any of the power conferences. Well, they roll in this year with 14 bids, which breaks the big East record of 11 back in 2011. Um, The Big East didn't actually have a great tournament at all that year, but UConn ends up winning the whole thing, so that kind of can get lost.

If you look at the non-conference winning percentage for the SEC this year, it's 88.9. I've seen it written that that's the best ever, but I think the ACC in 83-84 technically was higher, where I read somewhere else. None of that really matters, but in 83-84, that's lost in the Big East 84-85 season because UVA was only the Final Four team, and that was the Georgetown-Houston title game. So look,

The last champ for the SEC is Kentucky in 2012. I've talked about the expected win part of this. It is clearly a loaded conference. I don't have an issue with in-conference records being below 500 when the shifting of where these conferences is going is so ridiculous that you're like, with this expansion, maybe you'd like to punish the teams for being below 500 in the non-conference.

Or excuse me, in-conference. I've got to stop saying non-conference. Where do you see... We know what the bid part of this is, but it'll be interesting in a one-and-done scenario if they end up becoming way below expectations here, whether it's maybe Bama not playing defense to their standard, Kentucky's guards not being healthy enough.

We already know what's going to happen because I think there is a carryover in the conversation of how just annoyed so many parts of the country are about the football conversation that's dominated for like 15 years. Yeah.

Yeah, I mean, when you throw those numbers, it's not even close what's more verified, right? But I always, you know, We talk about coaches all the time. I hate to go back to Rick Barnes, but the criticism he gets, I don't judge a guy on that. The tournament is the ultimate crapshoot a lot of times. The ball goes in the hoop. It doesn't. The ball bounces the wrong way.

The reviews with these balls off the hand, whatever. And you already know the army of non-SEC people is waiting to throw β They're going to set the record for the most losses in the tournament, knowing that only one team in the whole tournament is going to end up with a win. So I get it.
