He had he was from just by Croke Park, you know, North Strand.
And when I heard that, it's like when you hear your own voice, I suppose.
And it's totally different.
But when I heard when I thought to me was that and that was fine.
But when I listen to the tapes, I can hear an accent, a Dublin accent.
He had like he'd say squirtle in the evening, hurtled and all that kind of stuff.
And it was never I never noticed, really.
But it was only when I listen back.
It's nice, you know, it's nice.
And I know we've spoken about this before, but there's that poem where you, I think it's called The Stranger, is it?
When dad doesn't know himself.
That was hard for dad.
Does that happen?
Happened to dad.
At least maybe twice because I don't know if he was remembering a young man and he'd look in a mirror and he'd see an old man.
I don't know if that was it.
