There was something the government did where it was something to do with opening up the avenues in terms of contact.

And everybody got a letter.

And if you were adopted or gave away a baby, you could fill this in.

And you'd send it back into CUNY or whatever it was.

And if it was a match, boom.

So I was very happy.

My childhood was very nice.

I was very lucky.

And

I just didn't see, I never had any, I didn't pine for anything.

I was so lucky.

And so this letter came in and I just said, it's just no need for me to do this, you know, if it isn't broke or whatever.

And I didn't, but it was actually mom and dad really wanted me to do it because they felt somebody's out there so worried.

And so did they make the right decision?

Was it a good thing to do?

Or two people, you know, obviously.

oftentimes just one yeah fair enough yeah that's a fact but so and then emir uh got it into her head maybe a bit of a romantic kind of uh this is a story this is going to be a thing and stuff and i i didn't fill in the form and i kept turning up i actually put it in a bin a couple of times and i kept turning up on the dresser where we used to live and uh i'd be walking out to work and i'd be going to

How's that turned up again?

And he was, oh, no, you should do it, you know, and mum and dad and blah, blah, blah.
