And an inquiry is a bit of an odd statement at the end of an obituary.

So I sent an email and I just said, listen, look, I don't know if you know who I am or that I exist at all.

But I'm very sorry for your loss, of course.

And I was just wondering if you could tell me his name is John, you know, and if John had a good life and he was, you know, he made the most happy enough.

And that's all I wanted to know, you know.

So they sent back a message.

And it was a really nice message.
