I'm not coming from this from any sort of literary background, but to be honest, it's very easy to write to write these poems because his stuff is so good.
He was a master.

And it just affected me because it was just so stark, you know.
And then there might have been a light or something like that in one of the rooms.

It's maybe an atmosphere.
He creates atmospheres very nicely, you know.
