Tech savvy, this has been a core value from day one at my Amazon guys, never changed.

Being able to type 55 words per minute, Excel guru, Google enthusiast, uses Slack threads.

I'll be honest, that last part, that last phrase about Slack threads is a little passive aggressive on my part because we got a lot of boomers that we hire on occasion who cannot use a Slack thread to save their life.

By the way, my dad was one of them.

I ended up firing my dad.

That's a video for another time.

I fired him twice.

The dude was playing hooky and not showing up to work because he loved weather so much.

He was doing part-time meteorology work over in Utah.

I love my dad, and he loves weather.

But you got to show up to work if you want to work at my company.

And I couldn't allow the culture to be influenced by me allowing my father to get away with that.

Because other people would pay attention and see it.

And I told my dad he couldn't do it.

And he did it anyway.

So I fired him on the spot.

And he probably needs to be retired, truth be told.

But anyway, Slack threads, boomers, you guys need to learn that, please.
