Teaching is a core value.

I probably should put my core values up on screen here.

And I really like these core values.

They've done really, really good for me.

So learning.

Eagerness.

I got a little eager beaver here.

Consistent communication with a picture of a bored guy.

Why do I do that?

Because...

Strategic communication, which is what the genesis of this core value was, wasn't good enough.

What I really was going for was this Borg element of constantly communicating.

Frequently convey info with clarity, accuracy, and purpose to all parties.

Because what would happen is we would do work on an account for a client and then not tell them about it.

And I'd be like, why?

They're like, well, we didn't know that was important.

I'm like, how did you not know that was important?

Client fires us, told us we didn't do the thing that we actually did.

When we show them we did the thing that they actually did, they don't care because we didn't tell them.

So I had to figure out how to fix that, and I made that a core value.
