It eliminates the previously high value exemption and this again for if you sell a bulky product or a higher cost product, then you did not have to pay and you could charge customers for a return label prior to this.
Now, essentially, the prepaid return label program through buy shipping services, it's going to reduce the refund cycle time from 14 to 7 days, they say.
So this is a really, really big deal.
Obviously, exemptions still apply based on category.
So if you're selling something handmade, certified pre-owned watches, non-physical items, so on and so forth, then you won't have this.
The other aspect is they do say extra large or heavy items.
Additionally, items that are ineligible for prepaid return labels will remain exempt from this requirement.
So the big part there is them saying extra large and heavy items.
