But I wholeheartedly disagree that that's Harry's biggest failure.
That's like his smallest, right?
But to Wales' point, I think he's right.
Harry doesn't have the standard kind of like repeatedly failing due to his weaknesses over and over again.
Well, no, actually, I disagree with that.
So here's the thing.
Harry's biggest failure is not losing to Hermione because he didn't consult his lieutenants and get ideas from them.
His biggest failure was forgetting the lesson he learned from that.
Because then he realizes, oh, Hermione asked her lieutenants.
And the lesson from that is there are people around me who can do what I can't.
I should learn to lean on powerful allies.
And he consistently fails to do so for the rest of the story.
And Hermione dies because he doesn't think to contact Dumbledore immediately, right?
He does try to contact McGonagall, but he hasn't pre-trained in the habits of, what if I need to get a grownup's attention?
If he had, he would have remembered the Patronus, right?
Yeah.
And so I think his biggest failure was always him thinking he could do everything himself.
And to be fair, like his his reliance on himself is is reinforced over and over because a lot of people around him are being dumb.
I remember who was it who runs the library library?
But he's trying to get her like, how can I talk to McGonagall?
