Yeah, every club's a little bit different, but horse is right.
Those things are definitely at the front of mind.
Give me a picture of training to improve.
Well, training to improve, you know, there's the maintenance training and then there's the training for the opposition.
So there's the fundamentals.
You always start with fundamentals.
You do a few breakdown drills and then you might go, oh, geez, we're playing Hawthorne this week.
Let's try and protect the corridor because we're playing Hawthorne so that
And then you get to the end of training, you record it, you code it, you show the players, here's what we need to do when we play the Hawks.
This is how we're going to beat Dunstan whilst playing our way.
So that's your week to week.
But when you have a week off and no opposition, then you can train for your DNA, your system.
What do you need to get better at?
What's the pattern that is costing us potential wins?
And if it's contest, if it's ball movement, if it's Team D, if it's kick-ins,
If it's your zones, if it's your stoppages, if it's your front half game.
So there's all these things that you want to work on to improve.
And then you've got your lines.
So the forwards, mids and backs will have the little specific craft things they'll work on as well.
So to do all that, Gerard, you need availability and you need time.
