Primarily something which an HR operation guide does, right from, say, helping you to onboard people, getting the induction, then managing leave attendance, employee help desk, query management, payroll, confirmation processes, appraisal coordination, and the separation management is something.
Correct, correct, correct.
So I've been into entrepreneurship for almost 10 years now.
I started with a recruitment firm, which was primarily a services firm.
Engage, we started in 2018 because my first half of career has been working with a lot of corporates, mid-size growing organizations.
And being a founder as well as being HR, I've realized that there are common problems that every organization goes through, specifically all the startups and MSMEs, right?
Most of these companies, either 70% of MSMEs do not have their own HR department, right?
If I talk about INR, it is 1.2 lakh per annum.
And if we convert that into USD, it's something around $12,000, $13,000 per annum.
Yeah, so currently we are managing more than 12,000 employees.
This is across 130 customers.
So we launched our product in 2018 beginning and we got our first paying customer in mid of 2018.
So it was basically a friend who was facing a challenge that the friend didn't have.
He was running an IT company and he didn't have an HR department.
And he knew me because we were working together in the last organized meetup.
He said, I mean, why don't you help us in terms of managing the entire HR department?
