Engaging in conversation is fairly meaningless unless it's in one of those moments like with Ben Gavir or something where you want to like undermine the little propaganda thing that he's doing where it's useful.
I mean, my close friend Kat was the woman at the beginning who yelled out free, free Palestine to Ben-Gavir's face and then kind of got slammed from that.
She's a great leader among the movement.
She's an amazing, amazing human being.
I'm just kind of fucking with her saying that because I know she's going to hear this.
So much, so much, so much.
It's just a bit of a joke that we have.
But, yeah, she's amazing.
Like everyone really in the movement is.
Yeah.
It's pretty incredible, the collectivity involved.
But, yeah, I mean it's that particular video that they put out, like on one level it's shocking how brazen it is that they feel like, oh, I can just put this out and be proud of it and, yeah,
The response from it obviously has been good.
Like there's been so much attention on that.
But two things.
One thing is that they clearly didn't show like extreme violence.
They showed us being humiliated, held in like stress positions, which is a violent thing to do.
But they clearly also didn't show like violence
throwing grenades into the yard or beating people or um sexual violence like extreme sexual violence like most of the grotesque violence we experienced you can't get a sense of that from those videos so it's like it's also carefully calibrated in a certain way and it's a peculiar feeling the uproar around people being in stress positions like it's like
