against people even crossing check checkpoints, but especially against detainees and It's so horrific that like there's a there's a sustained policy of actually raping people to death like people are raped to death in these time these dungeons and torture to death and it's so consistent and so brazen that I Don't know if it's that

it's i don't know if it's just that we're so overwhelmed by the violence that we can't take it in anymore or we don't want to look at the reality that's happening but it's like it's so sick and these are people that our government are choosing to be friends with and to support and to stand behind

And it's like, if this video that Ben-Gavir's put out is somehow people's in to understanding how grotesque the apartheid system is and how grotesque the genocidal policy is of Israel,

then then that's good but I hope it leads people to to looking into like all of the people that we left behind in those prisons when we were brought back here because it's like we've experienced a few days to maybe a week and a half of like intense violence and sexual violence and torture and like

full-on experiences but we have the eyes of the world on us and we have a safe place to return to relatively and we have this kind of political attention in a way that thousands and thousands of Palestinians are experiencing much worse like inexplicably worse treatment than any of us have gone through even the worst cases like 10,000 Palestinians are still imprisoned in Israeli dungeons at the moment

And almost 400 of them are children and not just like people who are under 18, like two-year-olds, three-year-olds, four-year-olds, experiencing this sort of torture and violence just forever, ongoingly, without comment from the allies of Israel and without any sort of recourse or...

Like many of those thousands of prisoners are there on, I think it's almost 4,000 prisoners are there on administrative detention.

So there's no trial, there's no charge that is taken in the night from their families.

And then they end up in prison sometimes for years and years.

no one understands how to get to them their lawyers can't speak to them like it's the most grotesque system and it's a specifically racialized legal system it's like Nazi Germany or apartheid South Africa like it's like set up in a way to erase a people and for us to decide to keep Israel as a friend despite this like

grotesque ongoing policy, it makes no sense to me.

I don't understand how we can maintain our friendship with fundamentally a terrorist state, a rogue state.

And now it's gotten to the point where our own citizens are being tortured and being kidnapped by the state.

And there's no response whatsoever from a prime minister.

Like Albanese's refused to speak to us.

You know, Penny Wong spoke about the flotilla like very, very subtly.

And said they would recall that like we should be expelling the ambassador.

We should be cutting all ties with Israel.
