What is low-hanging fruit to avoid problems?
What I'm hearing you say there, Bernie, is that it's important not to lock yourself into an ivory tower and keep shining your product to make it more and more suitable and attractive to nobody without getting out there and facing what could be a bruising conversation when your first couple of people you talk to might say, I don't like it or I don't want it or I'm not willing to pay for it.
It's been really interesting to talk to you all and I'm very glad that we took a geographically diverse approach
as well as an emotional and psychological, as well as a statistical journey there with you all.
Really appreciate your time today.
Thank you very much indeed.
Economics lecturer at TU Dublin, Emma Howard, author of Why Startups Fail, Bernie Balkan, and also entrepreneur Kevin O'Loughlin, who is the CEO of Nostra.
Thanks so much for joining us here on Taking Stock.
Thank you, Susan.
Now for the answer to my trivia this week.
So I was in a city and I gave you three clues earlier in the show to see if you could determine which one.
The world's first motion picture was shot here in 1895.
This city invented the modern automated public bike rental service in 2005.
And every December the 8th, the city hosts the FΓͺte de LumiΓ¨re or the Festival of Lights.
Now, it would be very tempting to say it's Paris because, of course, Paris is known as the City of Lights, but it's not actually.
It is Lyon in France.
I was there during the week.
An absolutely stunning city, a place I'd love to explore more.
It was my first time there and I learned an awful lot about it while I was.
And that's it for this week's Taking Stock with me, Susan Hayes-Cullerton.
