And they looked so bloody cool in what they were wearing.
But they also wanted to make a point.
So they weren't actually attending any shows.
They were just there to sort of rep pre-loved and rep thrifted fashion and they wanted to make the point.
And they told me this.
specifically that, you know, you don't need to buy new, you don't need to buy fast to create an amazing look.
And, you know, me personally, I've always had that attitude.
Like I have been op shopping since I was a kid.
I've always loved the thrill of the, you know, the search and the hunt.
And that has always been innate in me.
But I know that there's a little bit of there's
has been stigma in the past, but I think we can well and truly say that that stigma is lifted now.
And there is certainly cultural currency like never before in finding things.
And I know we've spoken about on this show before, but like there's a whole online like ecosystem and content space now for sharing what you're finding, sharing the best places to get things.
I love when I'm served those videos of
of people sharing, like, the gems that they find in thrift stores all over the world and they're like, oh, my God, I can't believe I found Prada shoes in Oxfam or whatever.
Like, I'm addicted to that content.
Yeah.
I want to be that girl, you know what I mean?
Dare I say it's almost also potentially a reaction to being overfed trends and micro trends.
