cortisol dressing.
What is that?
That's interesting.
Because dopamine dressing, just as a little like fill in if you're, you know, what is that?
I think for me, that really came into its own as a concept like post-pandemic.
Everyone was talking about dopamine dressing and it was about like dressing to spark joy.
Yeah, it was very like Marie Kondo, your wardrobe, right?
Pops of colour, what makes you feel good.
Exactly, which is great.
We all needed that.
Post COVID, we needed that like, you know, yeah, spark me up, make me feel joy again.
And all of that in our wardrobes.
And now, you know, seeing this thing about cortisol dressing, I was like, okay, well, that's kind of the opposite.
So cortisol dressing is about leaning into dressing for
what soothes your mood instead, rather than like brightening your day.
It's like dress in step with how you're really feeling.
So apparently per birdie, it's investing in a cortisol closet is about calming it all down.
So it's,
A palette built around tones that feel intentionally soothing and low impact.
So think like, you know, dusty blues and soft pinks and earthy greens.
